Marion K. Richards, age 94, a longtime resident of Plainfield, at rest March 18 in Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin. Born Aug. 31, 1921, in Joliet, the daughter of the late Elmer and Hattie Fox; beloved wife of the late Roy; loving mother of Wayne (Thanna) Richards, Ronald (Kathleen) Richards, Joann (Barry) Hester and Janice (Thomas) Tyma; cherished grandmother of 14; great-grandmother of 46; great-great-grandmother of 10; and dear sister of the late Evelyn Phelps and the late LeRoy Fox.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Maplewood Villa in Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin. Visitation was March 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 15219 S. Joliet Road, Plainfield. Additional visitation was March 24 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 24024 W. Main St., Plainfield, with funeral services to follow at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn I Cemetery in Joliet.
