Michael L. Sharp, 57, of Cedartown Ga, formerly of Plainfield, passed away suddenly February 24.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl, beloved children; Samantha and Kevin, all of Cedartown. His humor will be missed by all and especially his parents, Neal and MaryLou Sharp of Plainfield, siblings Sue (Gary) Yunker of Morris, Cyndi (Ken) Rice of Naperville, Rich (Becky) and Stephen, all of Plainfield.
His knowledge and love of fishing and the outdoors will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Kris (1981), father-in-law, Jim Weber (2011) and grandparents.
Mike was a graduate of Plainfield High School (1978) and Eastern Illinois University. Employed by AT&T for over 30 years, living in Georgia for the past 26.
He was an avid hunter, “OK” fisherman, and loved animals. Services will be held in Georgia.

A local open house, “Celebration of Mike’s Life” for friends and family is Sunday March 11, from 1-4 p.m. at Nevin’s Brewing Co, 12337 South Rt. 59 Plainfield.
