Joanne O’Donovan, nee Nugoli, age 84, loving wife of the late Daniel O’Donovan and the late Kenneth Morgan; and loving mother of Gail (Stephen) Vierneisel, Danette Matyas and Dennis O’Donovan. She is the dear grandmother of Stephen (Laura), Daniel (Linda) and Jennifer Vierneisel; Tammy (John) Samp; Matt Matyas; and Kaitlyn, Danielle and Emma Jo O’Donovan. Dear great grandmother of Alexis and Zachary Vierneisel; Jacquelyn, Bradley and Kathleen Veirneisel; and Kayla Samp; and the aunt of many and friend to many. Beloved daughter of the late Peter and the late Olga Nugoli.
Visitation was March 31 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles. Funeral services were April 1 at 9:15 a.m. to St. John Brebeuf Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. She was the general manager of Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in Lincolnwood and employee for more than 40 years. Graduate of Alvernia High School of Chicago.
