Wm. Dean Paydon, age 94, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully June 14, 2016, at Symphony of Orchard Valley in Aurora. He was born April 29, 1922, in Plainfield, the son of Joseph Stephen and Sybilla, nee Findlay.
Dean was a farmer all his life in Plainfield. He loved being outdoors, where he enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing and walking. He was a member of Wheatland Presbyterian Church in Plainfield, and was a member of the Kendall County Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Clara May Paydon of Plainfield; sons Barry (Judi) Paydon of Aurora and Mark (Kathi) Paydon of Plainfield; grandchildren Marie Elizabeth Paydon of Lake Villa, Emilee Renee Paydon of Winfield and Tyler Joseph Paydon of Plainfield; and great-grandson Carter Dean Perez of Winfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Joseph Findlay, A. Stephen and R. Harlan Paydon.
