Marjorie Marie Greger, a lifelong resident of Plainfield, died Sept. 3, 2016, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She was born April 24, 1928, in Joliet. Marjorie moved to the Albuquerque area in 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harold Greger; her parents, Laura and Edward Smith; and her brother, Richard E. Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Greger and Nancy Greger of New Mexico, and her brother, Roger R. Smith of Texas.
She was a loyal member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church.
A graveside ceremony was held at the Plainfield Township Cemetery. For those who would like to honor her life, memorials to the Plainfield United Methodist Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements were entrusted to the Overman-Jones Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located on the corner of Route 30 and Route 59 in Plainfield.
